The Freezer 4U-SP5 is specifically designed for Socket SP5 and supported EPYC processors. With a maximum power consumption of just 6.96 W, the Freezer 4U-SP5 efficiently cools even the most powerful AMD processors with 128 cores and a TDP of 360 W.
Specially designed high-static-pressure fans are perfectly suited for the Freezer 4U-SP5's high fin density, ensuring effective heat dissipation in push-pull mode, even in power-intensive systems. The dual fan configuration also provides natural redundancy, protecting the system from complete shutdown due to overheating.
The 4U-SP5 comes with MX-6 thermal paste. ARCTIC's Ultimate Performance thermal compound reduces heat buildup between the CPU's heat spreader and the cooler. The paste is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive, making it completely safe to use.
Both fans on the Freezer 4U-SP5 feature dual ball bearings, ensuring continuous 24/7 operation without compromising performance. This bearing type is significantly more resistant to contamination and wear caused by high temperatures compared to sleeve or fluid dynamic bearings, making it the ideal choice for reliable, uninterrupted operation.
