Description
New standard of energy efficiency
For the same performance, the S12038 consumes 22% less than the next most powerful competitor, increasing the energy efficiency of your server. Reduced energy consumption is the result of months of work by ARCTIC engineers to optimize the engine in order to improve the efficiency of IT equipment.
Test setup
Fan on the Freezer 4U radiator on a 500W heating element; the fan speed is set so that the temperature of the heating element is constantly 20 °C higher than the ambient temperature.
Wide speed range (from 800 to 8000 rpm)
The S12038-8K has a wide speed range from 800 to 8000 rpm, which can be regulated both by PWM and by voltage adjustment. Such a wide range allows you to precisely adjust the fan to specific server requirements, providing efficient cooling in various operating conditions. The fan is equipped with a standard 4-pin connector, which also allows it to be connected to 2-pin or 3-pin connectors. A 30 cm cable provides additional flexibility when positioning the fan.
Active cooling to extend engine life
Reducing the engine temperature by 10 °C approximately doubles its lifespan. The S12038-8K engine is not only particularly efficient, but is also actively cooled by an additional impeller in the fan hub.
To ensure a long service life in dusty conditions, a sticker is included in the package that covers the impeller in the fan hub.
Ideally suited for server environments
Especially in server environments, fans with high pressure are needed to ensure sufficient air circulation in often densely packed cases. The S12038-8K is installed in server cases from 3U and serves to upgrade or replace the CPU fan, radiator fan or for system ventilation.
Ideally suited for industrial applications
In addition to cooling servers, it is also used in industrial systems and plays an important role in equipment control and automation systems. Reliable and durable, they guarantee performance in various hardware environments, providing efficient cooling and minimizing downtime.
High air flow and static pressure
Heatsinks and radiators benefit from fans with high static pressure. The S12038-8K has a static pressure of 37 mmH?O, which allows it to push air even through narrow cooling fins. At the same time, it achieves a maximum air flow of 370 m?/h, which allows heat to be quickly removed from the cases. These properties make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.
Designed for continuous operation
The S12038-8K fan impeller is held by two high-quality Japanese ball bearings in a robust brass housing. This design increases the stability, strength and perpendicularity of the fan and minimizes sensitivity to influences such as heat and dust. In addition, the brass housing helps to reduce wear of high-speed fans.
Quality you can rely on
Ambient temperature of 70 °C, high dustiness and variable humidity - we conduct long-term tests in these extreme conditions to guarantee the service life of our products. Some of these test fans have been running for over 15 years.
This not only allows us to continuously improve our products, but also confirms the high quality of our tests. We are pleased to pass this guarantee on to our customers and offer a 6-year manufacturer's warranty.
