Description
Like its formidable sibling, the ROG Strix B760-A Gaming WiFi is a bold version of the latest Intel platform with PCIe 5.0, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interfaces, and ROG cybernetic aesthetics applied to a high-contrast base. But this model features DDR5 memory, delivering even higher bandwidth for games and applications.
PCIe Q-RELEASE.
A physical button unlocks the first PCIe slot latch with a single press, greatly simplifying the process of removing a PCIe card from the motherboard when it's time to upgrade to a new graphics card or other compatible device.
M.2 Q-LATCH.
Innovative Q-Latch technology allows easy installation or removal of an M.2 SSD. The design uses a simple locking mechanism to secure the drive, eliminating the need for a traditional screw.
BIOS FLASHBACK.
BIOS FlashBack is a safe and easy way to update the BIOS. Simply copy the BIOS (UEFI) file to a FAT32-formatted USB drive, plug it into the BIOS FlashBack USB port, and press the button. The update can be performed even without an installed CPU or memory.
Q-LED.
Four built-in LED indicators display power status and detect issues with the CPU, memory, graphics card, or boot device for fast diagnostics.
DDR5 ADVANTAGE.
ROG has a long tradition of using the fastest memory, and DDR5 is no exception. Thanks to improved signal routing, enthusiast kits have achieved speeds well beyond 7 GT/s on the Strix B760-A, and who knows how far future DIMM modules will go? Experienced users can test their skills by fine-tuning a wide range of parameters in the UEFI.
AEMP II.
ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) is an exclusive hardware and firmware solution for overclocking standard memory modules. AEMP II automatically configures memory kits at system startup and uses optimized PCB trace routing on the Strix B760-A to achieve higher frequencies than before. AEMP II can overclock even mixed sets of four DIMM modules, and its extensive support library now covers virtually all DDR5 modules without XMP support.
VRM HEAT SINK ARRAY.
The power delivery solution includes two thick heatsinks with strategic airflow channels to enhance heat dissipation when using high-performance 13th Gen Intel processors.
M.2 HEAT SINKS.
Heatsinks cover each slot, helping maintain optimal temperatures for installed NVMe SSDs and ensuring stable performance and reliability.
CPU AND AIO PUMP FAN CONNECTORS.
Located at the top of the motherboard, two PWM/DC fan headers provide easy access for CPU coolers. A separate PWM/DC header is dedicated to connecting standalone water cooling systems.
4-PIN FAN CONNECTORS.
Each connector supports automatic detection of PWM or DC fans.
PCIe PERFORMANCE.
The top PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot is well-prepared for larger and higher-bandwidth next-gen graphics cards. Convenient data storage options are provided by three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, each equipped with a reliable heatsink for maximum performance.
NETWORKING.
Built-in WiFi 6E technology leverages the newly available 6 GHz spectrum, offering up to seven 160 MHz channels for ultra-fast throughput and better performance in dense wireless environments. Low-latency gaming, fast file transfers, and high-resolution video streaming are just some of the benefits of the built-in 2.5 Gbps Intel Ethernet port.
USB.
The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port delivers data transfer speeds up to 20 Gbps.
SUPREMEFX.
ROG SupremeFX is a unique combination of hardware and software technologies delivering superior audio quality. The Strix B760-A version includes the ALC4080 codec for high-resolution audio playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz on all channels. The front-panel audio output is delivered through a built-in Savitech amplifier capable of driving a wide range of headphones and speakers with high-fidelity sound.
