Description
HDMI extender over twisted pair is used to connect a computer, player, or other control device to a display device. This extender allows you to transmit a signal without loss of quality over a distance of up to 120 m.
HDMI extender consists of two blocks - TX and RX. To connect the blocks to each other, you need to use a shielded twisted pair cable CAT-5e/6 straight crimp (the same on both sides) with shielded RJ45 connectors. There are two RJ45 connectors on the side of the blocks for connecting the twisted pair cable (the connectors are labeled with the numbers "1" and "2"). These connectors are designed to transmit the signal and to exchange "service" data between devices.
One block (TX - TRANSMITTER - transmitter) is installed near the control device. Accordingly, the second block (RX - RECEIVER - receiver) is installed near the display device.
To connect to the corresponding devices, it is equipped with an HDMI ("female") type "A" connector, i.e. you will need additional HDMI-HDMI male-to-male cables to connect.
To operate this HDMI extender, additional power is required, 2 power supplies are included in the kit, one for each block.
