The Dahua DH-IPC-PTS2649C-3E3Z-4GB20 camera is a multifunctional PT solution for stable 24/7 video surveillance. The model combines a triple module with a resolution of 3+3 MP, a sensitive 1/2.8" CMOS matrix and a well-thought-out optical unit with focal lengths of 2.8, 3.6 and 8.4 mm. This configuration allows you to cover a wide sector and zoom in on distant objects when needed without losing sharpness. The built-in visible spectrum illumination works at a distance of 30–50 meters, providing clear shooting even in the dark.
Optics and image quality
The main lens forms a viewing angle of 93°, and the PT module covers a range from wide 81.5° to narrow 15.1° at maximum zoom. The camera is characterized by high sensitivity — only 0.0005 lux, and with active backlighting it shoots even in complete darkness. DWDR and 3D DNR technologies enhance the detail of the frame, compensate for contrast areas and minimize noise. Recording is done at a maximum resolution of 2304x1296 at a speed of 15 frames/s, and the Smart H.265+ codec helps to significantly reduce the load on the network and storage.
Intelligent functions and autonomy
The device is equipped with an extended set of analytics: SMD 3.0, people and transport detection, simplified auto-tracking and tracking with binding. These capabilities increase the accuracy of responding to events and reduce the number of false alarms. A built-in microphone and speaker provide a two-way audio channel.
For autonomous operation, there is a 65 Wh lithium battery and an 8 W solar panel. Charging is done via USB Type-C with QC2.0 support. Even at low temperatures, the system adapts: the panel heats the battery, and the charging process resumes as soon as it reaches a safe value.
The durable white case meets the IP66 standard, reliably protecting the camera from dust, precipitation and wind. The operating temperature range is from –20 °C to +60 °C, which makes the model suitable for outdoor use in any season. Support for memory cards up to 512 GB and management via the DMSS application provide convenient storage and quick access to the video archive.
