Alternate Spinning
The unique GIGABYTE Alternate Spinning technology allows for optimal distribution of turbulent flows with respect to a multi-fan cooling system. If the direction of rotation of the fans is the same, there is a high probability of turbulent flows (air mass vortices between adjacent fans) occurring, which reduce the efficiency of the calculated heat dissipation scheme. GIGABYTE engineers have proposed an original interaction option for three fans, where the central fan rotates in the opposite direction. Thus, it is possible to optimize the distribution of air flows between the fans and significantly reduce the negative effect of turbulence.
Unique fan blade design
The air volume in a given area is cut by fan blades with a special profile with ribs, which help increase the air flow pressure.
3D Active Fans
The 3D Active technology organizes a semi-passive cooling scheme, the fans remain off when the GPU is in a reduced load state, servicing non-resource-intensive applications. Thanks to 3D Active, computer game fans can focus on the gameplay process, as the noise from the operating graphics card cooling system is completely absent.
Direct Contact Heat Pipes
The base of the cooling system design is a heatsink made of an aluminum alloy with heat pipes and a copper insert that is in direct contact with the GPU crystal. Efficient cooling of video memory is implemented using a large metal plate, which is adjacent to the memory chips through thermal pads.
GRAPHENE NANO Lubricant
The graphene-based nanomaterial helps extend the fan's lifespan by 2.1 times, which corresponds to the lifespan of a double ball bearing, in addition, such a fan operates more quietly.
Flow Distribution
The extended heatsink design allows air flow to pass through, providing heat dissipation as efficiently as possible.
