The Hikvision DS-7104HGHI-M1 video recorder is designed for simple and efficient organization of a video surveillance system. It supports connecting up to four different types of cameras, including HD-TVI, HDCVI, AHD, CVBS, as well as one IP camera with a resolution of up to 2MP.
The video material is stored on a built-in SATA hard drive up to 4TB. Various resolution options are available – 1080p Lite/720p Lite, with a frame rate of up to 25 or 30 frames per second. This provides high image quality with efficient use of disk space thanks to the application of advanced video compression methods such as H.265 Pro+ / H.265 Pro / H.265 / H.264+ / H.264.
The recorder is equipped with VGA and HDMI outputs, which simplifies connection to various types of monitors or televisions for convenient viewing. Additionally, there are RCA audio input and output for recording and playing sound.
USB 2.0 ports are available for connecting peripheral devices, which can be used to connect a mouse or create backups to a flash drive. RJ45 (LAN) allows you to connect the recorder to a local network or the Internet for remote access via PC, smartphone or tablet.
Intuitive software offers a wide range of settings and capabilities for the end user. The user can adjust the recording quality, frame rate and resolution for each channel separately to optimize the use of hard drives.
Recording modes can be flexibly configured: continuous recording for continuous monitoring or scheduled recording to save space on the hard drive. The motion detection function activates recording or other actions when motion or other alarm events are detected.
Motion detection technology 2.0, based on deep learning, is built into analog channels. This function is able to classify objects, distinguishing between people and vehicles, which significantly reduces the number of false alarms caused by fast-moving objects such as leaves or flickering light.
