Description
IP video recorder Hikvision DS-7616NI-Q2(E) 16-channel designed to connect up to 16 IP cameras and receive an incoming video stream of up to 160 Mbps. The device supports cameras with a resolution of up to 8 MP and is suitable for building a multi-channel video surveillance system with local recording and outputting the image to a monitor.
Video recording and processing
The recorder works with H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 video compression. Resolutions of 8 MP, 6 MP, 5 MP, 4 MP, 3 MP, 1080p, UXGA, 720p, VGA, 4CIF, DCIF, 2CIF, CIF and QCIF are supported. For the main stream, processing of 6 channels of 1080p at 25 frames/s is indicated. Two SATA interfaces are provided for installing storage devices, and the specifications indicate a HDD capacity of 8 TB.
Video analytics and image output
The built-in analytics includes motion detection 2.0 and support for multiple VCA events for video content analysis. Separate HDMI and VGA outputs are provided for local viewing. Through HDMI, the recorder outputs an image with a resolution of up to 4K, while VGA is declared to have a resolution of up to 1920 × 1080. This allows you to connect the device directly to a compatible monitor or other display device.
Network, interfaces and operation
A port RJ-45 with a speed of 10/100/1000 Mbps is used to connect to the network, which allows data transmission via a Gigabit Ethernet network. Two USB 2.0 ports are designed to connect compatible USB devices. The recorder is powered by a 12 DC, 3.3 A power source and consumes 15 W. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 55 °C, so these operating limits must be taken into account when choosing the installation location.
