ID-Cooling A8-SP3 is a high-performance, industrial-grade cooling system specifically designed for servers and powerful workstations based on AMD EPYC processors. Thanks to its "2U" form factor, the cooler is ideal for installation in rackmount server chassis of the corresponding height, where uncompromising reliability and the ability to operate 24/7 under high loads are required.
A8-SP3 is compatible with a wide range of AMD processors, including the AMD EPYC 7001, 7002, and 7003 series. It supports multiple AMD sockets, including TR4, sTRX4, sWRX8, sTR5, SP3, and SP6.
Equipped with an aluminum fin stack, eight heat pipes, and a copper base for efficient heat transfer, it provides energy-efficient cooling for processors with up to 64 cores and a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 320W.
The large fin stack features a fin-lock design, which increases structural stability, improving durability and ensuring stable and reliable cooling performance.
Thanks to its optimized height of 146 mm, the A8-SP3 is suitable for most workstation cases and classic server racks. Its compact dimensions of 154x129 mm also make it ideal for dual-socket motherboards. If necessary, fans can be easily replaced to change the direction of airflow.
A fully metallic mounting kit with simple front-side installation and four screws for quick and secure fastening, combined with pre-applied AS50 thermal paste, which is non-conductive, has no electrical capacitance, and is absolutely safe to use.
