Description
The GPeR device allows you to extend the Ethernet cable by an additional section (<100 - 150 m for conventional network devices and up to 210 m for another GPeR device) up to 1500 m.
Convenient for high-rise buildings, apartment buildings with many floors and sections, where problems with very long Ethernet cables may occur.
The maximum permissible length of the Ethernet CAT6 cable between the GPeR and the power source / router is up to 100 m (depending on the cable quality, high quality - up to 150 m).
The maximum permissible distance of the Ethernet CAT6 cable between two GPeR devices is up to 210 m (depending on the cable quality).
If the target device does not support PoE activation, the PoE pass-through can be disabled by manually removing all jumpers.
