Tested in practice, Razer Gen-2 analog optical switches, combined with true 8000 Hz HyperPolling technology, demonstrate a performance 11% faster than the closest competitor, reaching a latency of only 0.58 ms — for virtually instantaneous keypress registration.
Testing was conducted with 20 measurements with an actuation point of 0.1 mm and a polling rate of 8000 Hz. Percentage rounded to the nearest whole number.
Latency is measured from the moment the switch is triggered to when the signal is received by the host device's USB port. End-to-end latency may vary depending on the test environment and devices used.

Rapid Trigger and Adjustable Actuation Point
Get maximum accuracy and speed with next-generation switches that support Rapid Trigger for ultra-fast repeat presses, an adjustable actuation range from 0.1 to 4.0 mm, and a lifespan of up to 100 million keystrokes.
Rapid Trigger Mode
Instead of a fixed reset point, the key is re-registered immediately during the return stroke — already from 0.1 mm. This allows you to perform significantly faster repeat presses compared to standard keyboards and significantly increases reaction speed in games.
Razer Snap Tap
The function prioritizes the last input between two selected keys without the need to release the previous one. This provides faster and more precise changes in movement direction.
Snap Tap is disabled by default and can be enabled or disabled via Razer Synapse or the FN + Left Shift combination.
Adjustable Actuation Point
Support for a full range from 0.1 to 4.0 mm allows you to customize the switches to your desired sensitivity and tailor the settings to your own playing style.

With LED Indicator
Precisely change the actuation point height or Rapid Trigger sensitivity directly during gameplay using the visual indication of the LED array. All settings are stored in the keyboard's memory without the need for software.
