The new ID-Cooling cooling system is built on four 6 mm copper heat pipes. The pipes are mounted in an aluminum base and make direct contact with the processor lid. A moderately sized 75 mm wide aluminum heatsink is placed on top of the pipes.

The brand was created by the Chinese company Shenzhen Wan Jing Hua Technology Co., Ltd. Initially engaged in OEM cooling assembly, it later launched products under its own brand. ID-COOLING's first designs were introduced relatively recently, in 2003—CPU coolers that quickly gained user attention due to their high efficiency and attractive pricing. Over the years, the company has released many innovative solutions and holds several unique developments. Recently, the company has also started producing various lighting systems.
